Can you spare an hour or two a week?
The Shop is a key asset for our community providing both the essentials every household needs and locally sourced more luxurious products. It is largely staffed by our wonderful team of volunteers who have responded magnificently to the challenges of bouncing back from Covid and the death of Eddie, The Shop manager, at the end of last year.
We need more volunteers, now people are resuming their full social lives and starting to go away again, to ensure The Shop continues to open Monday to Saturday and can support our communities. Whether you can cover occasional shifts, take on a regular slot or commit to just an hour a week we would love to welcome you (or welcome you back) as part of the team. Full training is provided, and you will always have another volunteer with you.
